8/16/24 UPDATE: Updated to latest Batocera v40. OLED and LCD model Compatible!
For Sale: One (1) loaded 1 TB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I memory card, for the Valve Steam Deck (OLED or LCD versions). It's awesome as it is completely independent from your Deck's internal storage... keep that for Steam Gaming. Batocera is the way to for emulation / retro gaming on the Steam Deck!
How to boot to Batocera with this card on Steam Deck:
* For LCD Model: Hold the Volume Down button and press power button to turn on. When menu appears, release Volume down button. Choose to boot from SD/MMC Card.
* For OLED Model: Hold the Volume Down button and press power button to turn on. When menu appears, release Volume down button. Choose to boot from SD/MMC Card. Then immediately press down on D-pad to select "continue boot". Press X, then immediately press down again to select "verbose".
I take pride in building the very best cards and I put countless hours into this one, as Batocera on the Steam Deck is fantastic! You will NOT be disappointed. I used the latest techniques such as squashfs, gamecube compression via Dolphin, etc. to optimize the 1 TB of space!
Includes PS3, PS2, Sw., Gamecube, Wii-U, Arcade, Sega Saturn, 3DO, Atari Jaguar, Sega Naomi, Sammy Atomiswave, PSP, 3DS, NDS, Dreamcast, among many others as listed in detail below.
24 Themes pre-installed, many of which I fixed issues. All themes display all systems nicely. See my pics which show several of these themes. I am using all the default rom folders and default es_systems.cfg for Batocera so updating Batocera on the device in the future if desired is a breeze.
Approximately 20,000+ quality games including their game artwork and gamelists in the roms directory are installed. Games have video snap previews, mixart, and wheel (header) art, typical. For Arcade Games (i.e. FBNeo and MAME), Vectrex, and a few other systems, game-specific bezels were added to system and enabled through Batocera's decorations menu. Almost all systems have beautiful Batocera bezel art where appropriate. With the size of the screen, this is fantastic! CHEATS have been installed available through the retroarch menu for many popular systems.
Games have video previews that play as you scroll down through the game list on each system. Awesome menu background themes loaded which can be easily switched up. Most Game Systems allow saving game play at ANY spot within the game, typical. Games can be identified as "Favorites" simply by holding A button with game highlighted in menu and choosing "add to favorites" so they can easily be found in the favorite folder or sorting by system. Awesome "Custom Collections" are already setup and can be modified easily the same method as adding favorites. The Arcade Favorites collections have hundreds of the best arcade games (from the thousand+ on system).
I went through each console and made sure it had the top/best games loaded. I left about 3 GB free space on the sd card available for save states and smooth operation.
NOTE: I included a product selection choice so you can upgrade the card to a 1 TB Sandisk "Extreme" in lieu of my default "Ultra" card for this listing for an additional fee as indicated in checkout process. This is not necessary but some customers may want the more expensive Sandisk card so I offer it as an option. Hi
